Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction for Adults
This course is a Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction course in which participants learn the science of WHY and HOW meditation works and how one's emotions, thoughts, and behaviors affect one's perception of their inner and outside worlds.
Participants will also learn about stress and chronic stress and how it can negatively impact one's physical, emotional, and mental health as well as how to identify stress in your body. One will learn how to use the tool to disrupt destructive thoughts, emotions or behaviors.
The course also includes mindfulness exercises that will help one cope effectively with stress to avoid becoming overwhelmed and burnt out. Instead one will learn how to cope with stress in a loving and kind way.
